Kirsten Olson

Kirsten Olson (born on October 20, 1991 in Burnsville, Minnesota; now Kirsten Vike) is a former American figure skater.

She placed fifth on the novice level at the 2005 United States Figure Skating Championships and came in ninth at the junior level at the 2007 Nationals.

Kirsten began skating when she was 3 years old after getting a pair of skates for Christmas. She participated in the U.S. Figure Skating’s Basic Skills Program presented by Marshalls'.

Kirsten trained in Bloomington and Prior Lake, Minnesota where she was coached & choreographed by Tracy Keefer.

Post-Skating Career[]

Kirsten graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication and a minor in Professional\Technical Writing.

She is currently the Skating Programs Director for the City of Plymouth, Minnesota and coaches regularly at the Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Personal Life[]

Kristen grew up in Savage, Minnesota; she has a brother named Steven who played hockey, football and baseball.

She appeared in the 2005 Walt Disney film "Ice Princess" as Nikki Fletcher.

On August 12, 2017, she married Broc Vike in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
